What Is a Voice-Activated Scannable Code?

VoiceQR  technologies enable tradictional scannable  codes to work like traditional codes, but without the friction and time it takes to scan the code.

Users simply say a short keyword:

“Hey Siri, open SmartPoint QR Pizza.”

It instantly routes to a webpage, offer, video, or experience.

No Camera. One code. Instant Access.

30 Years of Scannable Codes.

Scannable codes spent their first 2 decades as a niche industrial tool.

The Last 5 Changed Everything.

Almost overnight, scannable codes became one of the most adopted technologies on the planet:

  • Scannable code usage surged 323% between 2021 and 2025

  • 44.6% of global internet users now scan at least one scannable code monthly

  • The scannable code market is valued at $13 billion in 2025, projected to reach $33 billion by 2030

But one fundamental limitation has never been solved: you still need to point a camera at it.

In a moving vehicle, across a large venue, on a broadcast, or in any hands-busy environment; that single friction point costs you the interaction entirely.
